• A Local Guide

• Comfortable air conditioned vehicles.

• Collection from your Phillip Island or San Remo accommodation

• Enjoy coffee while watching Pelican feeding on San Remo jetty

• Orientation of area from vantage point in San Remo and begin learning about the area, its history and what the day tour includes and what can be customised to maximise weather, interests and guests energy.

• Helicopter ride along south coast of Phillip Island (optional extra at own cost)

• Light lunch (included in tour) at the Cape Kitchen overlooking the spectacular south coast and Cape Woolamai.

• Travel via the MotoGP circuit to the Phillip Island Wildlife Park to get up close with Australian native animals such as koalas, Tasmanian devils, and wombats including hand feeding kangaroos, wallabies, emus and many more.

• Enjoy walk along boardwalks in mangroves with stunning view over Rhyll inlet and across Western Port to French Island, surrounded by native birds.

• Travel to Cowes township and enjoy free time at the beach, strolling the foreshore or sipping wine or cocktails and dining from any of the local eateries.

• Travel to the Summerland peninsula (penguin peninsula) and view penguin burrows in the natural environment. Learn about the life of the Little Penguin and enjoy strolling boardwalks at the Nobbies, viewing seals resting on Seal Rocks through binoculars. 

• Travel the South Coast Road stopping at look outs and points of interest before viewing penguins rafting up prior to coming ashore to cross the beach at the Penguin Parade. 

• Arrive at the Penguin Parade and enjoy Penguin Plus viewing.

• After penguins depart to be returned to your Phillip Island or San Remo accommodation

Tour can be customised to include (at additional cost $92 p/p) 2 hour boat trip to seal rocks for up close seal viewing - departs 2pm daily. This option requires exclusion of viewing MotoGP track, Rhyll walk along boardwalks and provides for only 45 minutes at the Australia wildlife park due to its closing at 5pm.

Timing: The tour starts between 10am to 11am.

Conditions: For your safety and comfort flat, covered-in shoes are recommended on this tour. Bring layers of clothing for heat and cold as the weather can be changeable on the Island (surrounded by a lot of ocean!).

General Questions:

1. Is there are minimum age requirement? 
   There is no minimum age but we do not offer child fares so every passenger is considered an adult. 
    

2. What sort of clothing should I wear? 
   Phillip Island has been said to have “four seasons in four hours” but sometimes you may experience all of these seasons in an hour so come prepared for a cooler climate. It is easier to take off layers than be cold. Remember where there are seals and penguins it can get cold! Even in summer. Wear loose clothing to be comfortable and wear flat covered in shoes so you will enjoy walking in nature.
    

3. What happens if the weather is bad? 
   If the weather is bad you will experience it – hot and cold, wet and dry. This tour is all about getting close to nature. We will do our best to visit sheltered areas (the value of a local guide) and utilise the indoor areas at the Parks if desired, but come dressed for getting into nature
